Halfway Down the Baja!!!

Buenos Dias amigos y familia,

We left San Diego a week ago and are now anchored in Bahia de Tortuga a sleepy town halfway down the Baja penninsula. The trip has been great so far, even the long passages have been bearable. After a stop at the Coronado Islands and then checking in in Ensenada, we stoped at Cabo San Quintin before arriving Nov. 19th in Turtle Bay to toast Mark´s birthday. What a place to be. It´s a lovely anchorage and we are lucky to have already met lots of other wonderful cruisers to celebrate with. We plan to head south in the morning.... I promise pictures on the next entry.
Until next time..Happy Turkey Day to you all. We have our turkey from San Diego and will be celebrating somewhere this week.

Glad you are doing well. Belated happy birthday and thanksgiving. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year early! We love and miss you. It is hard to explain, but having you where I can't call or know where you are exactly is much harder than I thought it would be. Please keep in touch a much as possible. Mom, Tara and Maggie will be with us for Christmas. I have a sailboat decorated in your honor in the Nantucket room. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love you,
Shawna, John, Margaret Anne & General!!!!

He was wondering what you were up to and so I'll make sure he gets your site address.

It took me a while but I finally found your blog. Best of luck in your watery travels. You both look wonderful. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Couldn't think of a better way to ring in the new year than on the high seas. Enjoy -- enjoy -- enjoy.

Hans! Been thinking of you lots...especially everytime I hear 'Last Christmas' by Wham!, which seems like daily because it is on in every store I go to!

Hope you are well and don't forget to wear sunscreen :)
